Moor mud is one of the oldest products in nature and a traditional household remedy. It has been used for generations for internal and external application in humans and animals. Through a natural biochemical process, organic mass is created over thousands of years, which contains a unique combination of valuable ingredients.
In particular, the natural humic and fulvic acids, which are present in high concentrations in the moor, are said to have digestive and immune-boosting properties. They support gastrointestinal activity by binding and flushing out harmful substances in the intestine. In addition, humic acids protect the intestinal mucosa and have appetite-stimulating properties. Humic acids can also be used to help support the digestive tract in animals.

The extraction of peat for our natural Moor Mud is fundamentally different from the peat harvesting used in potting soil production. Traditional peat extraction often involves draining moorlands, a process that significantly disrupts the natural environment and can take decades for the ecosystem to recover.
In contrast, our method of harvesting Moor Mud is designed to preserve the moor's natural state. The unique muddy, wet conditions of the moor are essential for maintaining its composition. To achieve this, we carefully remove the top layer of the moor before extracting small amounts of the nutrient-rich mud below. This ensures the upper layer can be replaced, allowing the moor to regenerate naturally over several years.

Natural Moor Mud for dogs can be mixed into their daily food. Please use clean teaspoons and stir well before use.
Before sealing, remove any accumulated condensation with a cloth and check regularly.
IMPORTANT: Stir well before use. Since this is a pure natural peat product, it may contain natural foreign objects such as wood pieces, stones, or leaves.
Note: When unopened, it is at least usable until the end of the best-before date (24 months from the production date). Once opened and stored correctly, it is usable for at least 12 months. It can be stored in the refrigerator or at room temperature in a light-protected and dry place.

It is primarily used to support digestive health — particularly for dogs with loose stools, sensitive stomachs or digestive irregularities. It can also be given as a general daily supplement to support gut health and immunity year-round.
Simply mix the recommended amount into your dog's daily food and stir well. Dosage is based on body weight — from 2 teaspoons daily for dogs up to 10kg, up to 5 teaspoons for dogs over 35kg. For cats, half a teaspoon daily is recommended.
Many owners notice firmer stools within 2–5 days of starting Moor Mud. For general digestive and immune support, regular daily use over several weeks gives the best long-term results.
